What an amazing portrait shot of this buck. The detail and DOF are spot on. Well done Debra

Debra Plett

Thank you Clifford I appreciate your feedback.

Great portrait, Debra. Nice story too. Nice knowing he wasn't impacted by your presence, and that you had the grace to leave him be. Wish more people were like that.

Debra Plett

Thanks very much Jane. I love to take a moment to snap a picture of the white-tail deer. The rut appears to be over and we are in a bit of a deep freeze now. The deer have probably retreated deeper into the bush and bedded down for the winter months.

Heather Mellon

A terrific portrait of this handsome buck, Debra. He stands out so beautifully here.. and I totally agree with Jenny..

Debra Plett

Thanks Heather, I really do enjoy the white-tail deer in the park. The rut is an exciting time to get pictures.

Jenny Stevens

Lovely looking young buck. You certainly have a way with deer.

Debra Plett

Thanks very much Jenny I appreciate the comments.

Description
On alert, this younger buck did not glance my way once. He remained focused on something in the bush that I could not see. I snapped a quick picture of him and then left him to his possible adventure.
